Your poems - Year 1
Kai Wildgoose – Snow
Snow, Snow, deep and cold
Fluffy and yummy,
Crunchy and white,
Snow, Snow.

By Kai Wildgoose
Coopers Lane School

Emma Lawrence – My Hearing Aids
When I listen to my teacher without my hearing aids
It feels strange in my sight
When I don’t have them in I feel lonely
But when I have them in I feel cheerful and happy.

By Emma Lawrence
St Winifred's RC Infant School

Millie Barnbrook - I like….
I like….

I like my cochlear implant it make me hear.
I like going hospital because I do listen.
I like signing to my deaf friends.
I like the deaf nursery children.

I don’t like….

I don’t like it to be loud.
I don’t like people touching my cochlear implant.
I don’t like it to be flashing .
I don’t like people shouting at me.

By Millie Barnbrook

Ethan Parker - Animals which live in water
A fish lives in a pond - A fish can swim
A frog lives in a pond - A frog can jump
A duck lives in a pond - A duck can fly

A fish eats worms
A frog eats flies
A duck eats bread on the water

A jelly fish lives in the sea
An octopus lives in the sea
A whale lives in the sea
A crab lives in the sea
A shark lives in the sea
A dolphin lives in the sea
A turtle lives in the sea

An octopus has eight legs
A crab can nip
A dolphin can jump
A penguin can walk
