The schools involved in Life and Deaf are all in the Royal borough of Greenwich. They are Meridian Primary School, James Wolfe Primary School, Thomas Tallis Secondary School and Shooters Hill Post 16 campus.
Deaf children in Meridian Primary school are educated through spoken English, many of the children sign together around the school and learn to sign with their Deaf instructor.
Deaf Children in James Wolfe Primary school are educated within a Total Communication Philosophy – that means that British Sign Language, Sign Supported English and spoken English are all used.
Deaf Children in Thomas Tallis Secondary school are educated within a Total Communication Philosophy – that means that British Sign Language, Sign Supported English and spoken English are all used.
Deaf teenagers in Shooters Hill Post 16 campus are educated within a Total Communication Philosophy – that means that British Sign Language, Sign Supported English and spoken English are all used.
