CYPN Arts & Culture Award 2015

CYPN Arts & Culture Award 2015
We are delighted that Life & Deaf and What the Jackdaw Saw has won the 2015 Children & Young People Now Arts and Culture Award!

This prestigious award is judged by a panel of highly respected professionals working with children and young people in the public, private and voluntary sectors, as well as a panel of inspirational young people.
What the Jackdaw Saw was recognised as ‘the initiative that has done the most to inspire children and young people in cultural activities, especially among disadvantaged groups, and where innovative collaboration is shown between children’s services, the cultural sector and children and young people’.
We would like to thank Julia Donaldson, Nick Sharratt, Macmillan Children’s Books and of course all of the young people who were involved in the project for a truly successful collaboration.
